We are located in Kampala-Uganda

The Advocacy program as a method of problem solving is tied in part to advocate that is philosophy of searching for solutions rather than problems. Through this program we air the progress of the activites we do through the various problems that we run and have established to benefit the community at large. We have done many advocacy programs both on media, Radios, televisions and also through newspapers. We write articles that give information and proper statitics on how best we need state help and how to go about the challenges of the community at large.

Advocacy allows us to voice out the challenges of the many communities that we serve.
Allows us to share the right information and the proper statistics of the exact number of the street children and the ones in communities that we continue to serve on a daily basis.
Enables us to reach out to the state and its representatives that are in position to assist us in the different social and strategic policies that we are to incorporate into our program activities as the state demands of us. The children are our major emphasis as they are the most vulnerable mainly.

We Arrange, Involve, Represent,Voice out and communicate problems to those responsible until impact surfaces.

Activities Involved:-

Through our outreaches, the community has been actively involved in the activities and in the sensitization about the plight of street children in Uganda. Most times they are encouraged to participate in curbing the vice any way available. We have been able to advocate through radio programs, newspapers and sharing information on different social media platforms plus involving local leaders.

Just like the words of mother Teresa, “Don’t wait for the leaders to do it alone”. each person’s effort surely does make a difference.

We continue to meet and reach out to various women in numerous communities through our Bible study. Many women are looking for refuge and through our Bible studies we are able to connect with them.

Through our street children programs, we continue to understand, learn, and share various mechanisms with them such as their rights and encourage them to speak up. Advocacy allows us to attain information on kids.

We have worked with many individuals over the past years to provide free services to street children who end up committed in remand homes. We carry out monthly visits to juvenile remand homes to offer both physical and emotional support. We have managed to set up a few workshops and meetings to speak, interact and engage members of the different communities in various issues concerning their children, community, health awareness.

POLICE ADVOCACY

The best way to secure our children`s future is by working with the responsible state bodies.

We inform and have talks on the alarming number of street children. We get letters, documents to assist us in relocating, tracing the children's families with the help of police officers and probation officers.

We involve the Police in many programs that we often set out to do with the children and in doing so we always aim at seeing the children express their pain and struggles caused by those in power such as the police that often carries out raids on the street children.

Together we can help the children be the persons they aspire to be in their future by putting their safety first.

In School, We Build Their Futures.

Many of our children are participating and representating their schools. This is one of the factor that we value to see them speak up and represent others. We believe when they are equipped with the right resources for example putting them in good and quality school the production is of high yield and we aim at this because it gives them the chance to re-write their stories through representation.

STREET ADVOCACY

On Streets, We Hear Them And Find Ways Of Restoring And Rebringing Them Up.

We let them voice out their challenges and demand for help on public event so as to inform the state.

During programs and organized events, street children participate in and express their grievances.

Involving the children in public speaking and dialogues is one way for the country to witness the future generation of kids that is lost on streets.

WOMEN AND COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT

Empower! A women, Grow a community.

EMERGENCY RELIEF

We always hope for the best, as we also prepare for the worst occurances.

HIV/AIDS COUNSELLING AND SENSITIZATION

HIV does not make people dangerous to know, so you can shake their hands and give them a hug: Heaven knows they need it.

We continue to witness a huge number of young people, mothers and community die due to the HIV/AIDS virus.

We run awareness and invite doctors to offer advice, blood testing and counselling so as to help infected parents/community to acquire help.

We call on movements and organize health talks with children, mothers, families and communities at large.

SICKLE CELL AWARENESS

It is a disease of the blood, Not the colour of our skin.

SANITATION

It is a civic virtue thus we value it's significance.

FAMILY ADVOCACY PROGRAM

We want to see families together, united and not divided because of different culture sterotypes disharming the possiblity of a "FAMILY UNIT."

EMPOWER A WOMAN, BUILD HER GIRLS FOR THE FUTURE

RESTORING DIGNITY TO UGANDA'S GREATEST RESOURCE "HER WOMEN" AND THE "FUTURE GIRL"

Our weapon to empower women has been a giant road of responsiblities, not only do we have to empower them economically but also join the fight against all the injustices and inequailties they continue to face in their homesteads and outside their homes.

We run a centre where women come in case of emergencies and also keep their Antiretroviral drugs.
